Beautiful and full of character, this los Castillo modernist bird of paradise pitcher/creamer is Taxco silver plate. Marked on bottom TA-01 Los Castillo Texaco Mexico plated # 207. Bird and handle (which is actually his tail feathers) are inlayed with malachite & lapis. He also has lapis eyes! Beautiful patina on the silver plate, Light indentations at sides from use.
