"Cafe in the Vieux Carre'' " - The Cafe DuMonde coffee and beignet coffeehouse at Jackson Square in the French Quarter in New Orleans, La. As seen from St. Ann and Decatur Streets.

This print on paper depicts the titular New Orleans restaurant illuminated beneath an awning, which seats a large gathering of patrons. To the distance is a horse-drawn carriage and figures obscured by fog amidst the rainy weather. Found to the lower left corner of the composition is an in-plate artist signature, dated 1994, which is complemented to the margins by a printed title and handwritten artist signature. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a gold tone wooden frame with brackets to the verso for hanging.
