Vintage 90s Lot 2 Covered Bridges Paintings by African American Artist Folk Art

This listing is for two (2) paintings of covered bridges by African American artist Esther Johnson. One painting is watercolor on watercolor paper and measures 7.5 inches by 10 inches. Signed on the lower left hand side. The other painting is acrylic(?) on a linen type paper and measures approximately 9 inches by 12 inches and is signed on the lower right hand side. Both paintings are unframed. Esther Johnson was an African American artist in Pennsylvania who had a stroke and learned how to write, draw and paint with her other hand. I have attached a photo of an article in a local paper about Ms. Johgnson. My partner and I knew her personally. She died many years ago. Paintings will be shipped flat via priority mail with insurance on amount paid.
