Ys Origin Originally released in Japan in 2006, Ys Origin is set 700 years before the events of the first game in Nihon Falcom)''s Ys series. A demonic invasion recently took place and the people of Ys were saved by the twin goddesses who used magic to relocate them to the sky. However, the goddesses have disappeared and the demons have begun erecting a tower skyward. As one of the game''s three playable characters, players must locate the goddesses before the demons are able to invade the land of Ys. Aside from the main adventure, Ys Origin also features Time Attack and Arena modes of play.
